As advertising reached 25€ again, very slowly this time, I donated 50€ to the OpenStreetMap Foundation as I use the maps on my garmin gps for my bike regularly. Keep up the great work!
As the organisation is asking for donations (read on Dave Neary’s blog) I thought it would be wise to use this time’s income from advertisements to support the meeting. All big open source graphics projects (such as the GIMP, Inkscape, Scribus, Blender, Krita, the Open Clipart Library and more) will be there. Dave Coffin of DCRaw fame will be there too. So I donated 50$ even before getting the actual money. Thank you for the support to all my readers and let the meeting be a great success! To further support open source, click on the advertisements in the dcraw blogs, buy from or sign up to shops under „Sponsoren“ or donate to various projects yourself.

Today I donated the money earned by advertisements and rounded up by myself to the GIMP Project. Due to the good € to $ exchange rate this time the amount is 50$. Thanks to the GIMP people for their great work and all my supporters, you are great!

This is the second donation after starting advertisements on this page. Since the last donation to Dave Coffin another 30€ accumulated and were today sent to Udi Fuchs, author of UFRaw. Thank you Udi for your excellent software!
Due to your support our first donation (40€) was made today to Dave Coffin, author of the famous dcraw. Without dcraw we would not have such a powerful tool to decode RAW files from digital cameras under Linux!
I will continue to use ad revenue to support different open source tools. I hope you will support me as you did before. All I have left to say is thank you Dave for dcraw and thank you all my readers who supported me and Dave respectively!
