DCRaw 8.30/1.341 Binaries

with 5 comments

Newer binaries available!

I tried to compile binaries for win64 but failed to as the built-in gcc version of cygwin doesn’t have 64bit support compiled in. If anyone knows how to bypass this I’d be very grateful

Dave changed the following:

  • 1.341:
    • Get the correct thumbnail offset and size from Sony ARW files.
  • 1.340:
    • Clear a „struct tm“ before using it.
  • 1.339:
    • Improved support for the Olympus E-330.

Download:
Update: Due to licensing issues I can’t offer the cywin1.dll on my page without providing the sourcecode, sourcecode that I can’t find on the cygwin page, and so you have to download the dll yourself from here:
http://cygwin.com/snapshots/, take any dll, rename it to cygwin1.dll and use it as before.
The remaining two dlls can be found here, if someone thinks there are licensing issues too, please tell me!

If you like my binaries please click on one of the links below:

To clarify things: The money earned will be donated to various open source projects. I’m not trying to make money here. The first donation will of course go to Dave. We only need 4 more € to get the first cash transfer.

  1. We discussed the -p option of dcraw before and you said you couldn’t find an lcms that would build properly on Win32.

Just an idea: the UFRaw executable from Udi Fuchs’s sourceforge site places an liblcms-1.dll in C:\Program Files\UFraw\bin\

I know nothing about compiling for Windows, but could you build DCRAW against that in order to enable colour profiling?

  2. The new cygwin compiles should have working lcms support.
